Vivian ten Dolle promoted at Merchants and Farmers Bank

Lake Charles, LA Ken Hughes, President/CEO of Merchants & Farmers Bank has announced Vivian ten Dolle has been promoted to Assistant Vice President/Credit Analyst at our Lake Charles office, 4091 Nelson Road.
ten Dolle was born in The Netherlands in the town of Winterswijk and graduated from de Driemark High School in 2009. She then moved to Ruston, Louisiana after graduation upon receiving a full scholarship to play tennis at Louisiana Tech University, where she earned a Bachelor in Finance in 2013, MBA in 2015 and Bachelor in Accounting in 2016. Vivian resides in Lake Charles, Louisiana with husband, Daniel Prego.
The Supreme Court on Thursday observed that former Chairman of Farmers Banks Audit Committee Mahbubul Haque Chisty alias Babul Chisty and his entire family have been involved in criminal offence. The court said it was seen from the case documents that Babul Chisty is the prime offender.

Farmers Bank & Trust of Magnolia has formed a nonprofit foundation, the Farmers Bank Foundation, which will operate independently from the bank.
The foundation aims to support local nonprofits whose mission it is to purposefully enrich the quality of life in the communities where the bank’s customers and employees live. It will also fund projects that help veterans, law enforcement and civic workers, and boost education and encourage wellness.
The foundation s funding is made possible by the bank s shareholders and employees in Arkansas and Texas, but the amount is not finalized, spokeswoman Rachael Potter told Arkansas Business.
Elizabeth Burns Anderson will manage the foundation as its executive director. She is a fifth-generation employee of Farmers Bank & Trust and native of Magnolia.
