Hooray! Three female directors nominated for Best Director
In 78 years of Golden Globes, only five women have ever been nominated for Best Director. Now, in this single year, they’ve gone and nearly doubled the tally, giving three out of their five slots to Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman), Regina King (One Night in Miami) and Chloé Zhao (Nomadland). If the Oscars knock that down to one, expect an outcry.
