Ashland Times-Gazette staff nominated for eight Ohio AP awards Staff report Staff members of Ashland Times-Gazette and Times-Gazette.com have been nominated for eight awards in the annual Ohio Associated Press Media Editors contest. The award finalists were announced Tuesday. The Times-Gazette is competing in Division II against other newspapers with a daily circulation from 8,000 to 11,999 for news and sports reporting, photography, design and online work in 2020. The awards in actual order of finish  first, second and third places  will be announced during an abbreviated virtual awards program that is being planned. The General Excellence, Hall of Fame, Rising Star and First Amendment winners also will be announced at the event.
