KARGIL, July 15: In order take stock of the status of various developmental works in Aryan Valley, Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan along with the Executive Councilor for Tourism Er Phunsok Tashi, Executive Councilor for Health Mohsin Ali and Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve visited several villages in the area and laid foundation stone of various infrastructural development works.
Chief Executive Officer, Kargil Development Authority (KDA) Abdul Gaffar Zargar, Nilza Angmo ,Tehsildar Kargil, District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO) Kargil, Executive Engineers of R&B, PHE, I&FC, KDA, engineers of Power Grid, PDD and other concerned officers accompanied the CEC during the tour.

The guest lecturer had returned to the IIT Madras campus on Thursday morning before his charred body was found near the hockey ground by some students while assembling for practice.

The charred body of an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras lecturer was found inside the campus on Thursday. The Sports Officer of the institute had alerted the local police after the body was spotted near the hockey ground.
