ANOTHER week, another significant planning application submitted for one of the North-East s most expensive places to live. Darras Hall in Ponteland is know as the place to live for the elite in the region, and a fourth planning application for development in the estate has been submitted within the past three weeks. The latest planning application would see a part first floor extension to an existing bungalow in Lynwood Close. Simon Tappin, of Lynwood Close, has applied to Northumberland County Council for the extension, which would be made from red brick and render, with modern grey tiles used for the roof to match the existing building.
