The Gentle Giant Café, Pitman
Dawn Lucas brought the vegan café to Gloucester County more than a year ago.
The Paulsboro native and Washington Township resident says her café is “the only 100 percent vegan café in Gloucester County.”
They also support animal rescues and sanctuaries on a monthly basis, she added.
Lucas, the owner/operator, said the café will celebrate its two-year anniversary in May.
She said some of their most popular dishes are Beyond Burgers, various rice dishes and BBQ jackfruit. They have plenty of breakfast and brunch offerings, including breakfast “sammies” and a customer favorite, a loxless bagel.
