19 Feb 2021 : Nathan Griffin Fate: The Winx Saga Netflix has renewed Fate: The Winx Saga for season two with production set to begin later this year in Ireland.
The first season filmed across several locations in Ireland with Kilruddery House in Bray acting as Alfea College, Powerscourt, Co.Wicklow being home to the Circle of Stones, interiors being shot in Ardmore Studios, and additional scenes taking place across Dublin.
The cast is set to reprise their roles include Abigail Cowen as Bloom, Hannah van der Westhuysen as Stella, Precious Mustapha as Aisha, Eliot Salt as Terra, and Elisha Applebaum as Musa with additional casting news to be announced at a later date.

Alfea’s favorite teenage troublemaking fairies Bloom, Stella, Aisha, Terra and Musa will play beer pong and make magic on the small screen once again.
Netflix has renewed “Fate: The Winx Saga” for a second season. And this time, fans will be treated to two more one-hour episodes. “The Vampire Diaries” writer Brian Young will return to the supernatural coming-of-age series as showrunner and executive producer.

The cast set to reprise their roles includes Abigail Cowen as the Fairy of the Dragon Flame, Hannah van der Westhuysen as the light-bending Solaria Guardian Fairy, Precious Mustapha as the Fairy of Waves, Eliot Salt as an earth fairy and Elisha Applebaum as a mind fairy. Additional casting for season two will be announced at a later date.

“Fate: The Winx Saga” has been renewed for Season 2 at Netflix, the streaming service said Thursday.
A live-action reimagining of the Italian cartoon series “Winx Club” by Iginio Straffi, “Fate: The Winx Saga” follows the coming-of-age journey of five fairies attending Alfea, a magical boarding school in the Otherworld where they must learn to master their powers while navigating love, rivalries, and the monsters that threaten their very existence.
The second installment of the Abigail Cowen-led drama will consist of eight one-hour episodes, which is two more than the first season, which launched Jan. 22, had. “Fate: The Winx Saga” Season 2 will go into production later this year in Ireland.
