Hills woman arrested after long drug investigation

02/15/21 A Hills woman was arrested Friday after a long investigation into her alleged drug possession and dealing. Authorities began their contact with 22-year-old Faith Mattson on November 5 th, when she made arrangements to meet with an undercover detective that night on Riverside Drive and sell 7 Xanax pills for $50. On November 12 th, Mattson allegedly contacted an undercover detective, saying that her cocaine supplier had product available for sale. She was observed picking up the supplier from a residence, and they reportedly met in the 900 block of Highway 6 East, where two grams of cocaine were exchanged for $160. On November 18 th, Mattson allegedly contacted an undercover detective, saying she had cocaine for sale. An arrangement was reportedly set up, and the two met in the 1400 block of Willow Creek Court in Iowa City to exchange 3 ½ grams of cocaine for $300.
