Each spectator chooses a themed avatar (I go with an elegant Tang Court Lady) and uses their keyboard to travel around the space like a chess piece, following a glowing orb that guides you to the next piece of action.
There is much thatâs like a real promenade performance: getting a bit lost, feeling that you might have just missed something important, other people getting in your way â although theyâre not normally embodying the shape of a Xiâan horse from the terracotta army.
Writer/actor Daniel York Loh appears looming overhead, god-like, speaking to us as William Waldorf Astor, once the richest man in America and the original owner of Two Temple Place. Period dramas have a lot to answer for. Not only do they feature incredible costumes that are enough to make any woman dream about being transported back to the days of corsets, but they also showcase some of the most beautiful stately homes ever built, in which dashing young men stride about in breeches, with a wagging hunting dog by their side.

A complete set of Spanish Armada maps have been saved from being exported to the US after the National Museum of the Royal Navy raised £600,000 to buy them.
The ten “incredibly rare” maps plot the defeat of the Spanish Armada and were due to be sold by the Astor family, which includes Samantha Cameron, who is the stepdaughter of William Waldorf Astor III, 4th Viscount Astor, to an unknown America buyer, until the culture minister Caroline Dinenage, imposed a three-month export ban last year.
