Mayor John Tory says while Toronto’s city-run immunization clinics are capable of vaccinating thousands of residents per day, a recent delay by Moderna is greatly limiting the city’s progress.

“We do know our clinics can vaccinate more people if we have more supply,” the Mayor said.
“… We do know that many of our hospital partners that use Moderna in their clinics didn’t receive a shipment this week. The shortage of Moderna is very frustrating. We all want everyone vaccinating as many people as possible, non-stop.”
Large pop-up vaccination clinic to open in North Etobicoke
3 pm Today, the province announced a large pop-up clinic will open BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Complex in North Etobicoke in partnership with BAPS Charities, William Osler Health System and Toronto Public Health. It will run for three weeks and appointment bookings will be opened through the William Osler Health System booking system to people living nearby on April 14.
The clinic will be open to people age 18 and older in the postal codes M9R, M9V, L4T, and L6S.
Future mobile and pop-up clinics will be promoted locally by community groups and local public health units, and will not use the provincial booking system, the government said today.

A large pop-up immunization clinic has been set up at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, located near Finch Avenue and Highway 427 in North Etobicoke, where staff will begin inoculating residents in the community starting this week. The clinic, which will be hosted in partnership with BAPs Charities, William Osler Health System, and Toronto Public Health, is open to all residents 18 and older in the M9R, M9W, M9V, L4T, and L6S postal codes.
