The Charlatans have announced a UK and Ireland tour as part of their delayed 30th anniversary celebrations.
The indie legends have lined up 18 shows for the autumn, kicking off in Belfast on November 22 before calling in Dublin, Wrexham, Bristol, Birmingham, Bexhill, Bournemouth, Oxford, Cambridge, Manchester, Lincoln, Liverpool, Newcastle, London, Nottingham, Leeds and Glasgow, wrapping up in Aberdeen on December 20. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on April 30.
Prior to the trek, the band will release a career-spanning box set called A Head Full Of Ideas on October 15 via Then Recordings through Republic Of Music.

WREXHAM Glyndwr University has teamed up with a major music festival to help showcase Welsh talent to the world. The university’s Plas Coch campus welcomed acts to film performances for FOCUS Wales as part of the BBC coverage of the pan-Wales multi-platform Gŵyl 2021 virtual event. Steff Owens, Programme Leader – Sound Technology, recorded performances at the university’s TV studios, with everyone observing COVID 19 procedures. Hip hop artist Dani Rain, also the drummer with North Wales pop punk outfit Neck Deep, and Cardiff-born grime MC Benji Wild performed at PGW’s TV studio in the Centre for the Creative Industries.
