The first 10 owner ambassadors for this year’s All-Star Mile have been announced.
The lucky punters are in the running to win a share in $500,000 on All-Star Mile day at The Valley on March 13.
One owner ambassador has been chosen at random from the voters for each of the first 10 horses in this year’s field, with $250,00 going to the person whose horse win’s this year’s race.
The 2020 All-Star Mile produced a sensational owner ambassador story with single mother Tegan Abercrombie using the $250,000 for a house deposit and a new car after Regal Power saluted in the race.

Leading Perth trainer Sean Casey has had to venture to Melbourne to gain the services of his champion local jockey Willie Pike but he is thankful for the rare opportunity .
Pike will ride Dom To Shoot for the Sean and Jake Casey stable in the Group One Australian Guineas (1600m) at Flemington on Saturday.
Casey said he had little hesitation in accepting the offer when Pike’s manager Dale Verhagen rang him and said he was keen to ride Dom To Shoot in the three-year-old feature.

Portland Sky and Celebrity Queen have fought out a thrilling dead-heat in a sensational edition of the Group 1 Oakleigh Plate at Caulfield on Saturday.
Portland Sky settled just behind the lead in the 1100m dash under young rider Teo Nugent, while Willie Pike was forced to inferior ground on the inside midfield after jumping from barrier three.
Portland Sky worked his way to the front early in the straight and gave a good kick with plenty of traffic issues unfolding behind him.
Pike didn’t have much choice but to dive towards the inside rail on Celebrity Queen and the exciting West Australian showed a great burst of speed to launch at the line, with Portland Sky under Siege from a number of rivals nearing the post.
