David Wilson Homes donated 100 eggs to Hinchingbrooke Hospital. - Credit: DWH More than 100 Easter eggs were donated to patients and staff at Hinchingbrooke Hospital by a housebuilder.  David Wilson Homes has donated more the eggs - which included a vegan and lactose intolerant selection - to help make the celebration extra special.  Many of the eggs were also gifted to the children’s ward.  Zoe Wilkinson, play service co-ordinator at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, said: “Being in Hospital at any time isn t great for any child and we do all we can to ensure their time with us is as enjoyable as it can be.

David Wilson Homes is building a new 115-home community, Abbots Green, at Old Stowmarket Road, and will provide the money as part of the planning agreement.  Land adjoining Woolpit Health Centre is being transferred to Mid Suffolk District Council, enabling the council to deliver additional car parking for staff and patients, as demand grows due to Covid vaccination appointments.

Property in Cheshire: New properties to be made available on developments through new Help to Buy scheme

FIRST time buyers in Cheshire will be able to purchase a number of properties on new developments this year as part of the government-backed Help to Buy scheme. The brand new scheme is exclusive to first time buyers only and is available on new properties that are built after April 1, 2021. There are also regional price caps which limit the price on Help to Buy homes, being £224,400 for the North West region. Barratt and David Wilson Homes will have a number of properties available through the scheme. Barratt Homes has properties with Help to Buy available at Imperial Park II in Northwich.

Ahead of International Women s Day on Monday (March 8), David Wilson Homes says it has a variety of roles available across Cheshire. Although the number of female construction workers has increased steadily over the past 12 years, the proportion of women in the industry is still significantly lower. This is something the housebuilder is keen to change, particularly as research figures from the union for construction workers, GMB, shows that if the rate of female employees continues to rise at the rate it is now, women won t equal men until 2194.
