Marjorie Viola Whispell, 29, of Wyoming, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021, in University of Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia.
Born in Wilkes-Barre on April 23, 1991, she was the daughter of Harold and Emmaruth Miller Whispell of Pittston.
Marj was a graduate of Pittston Area High School and Wilkes University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary and early childhood education. She was employed at New Story, Throop, where she loved teaching her students and helping them grow.
Marj was artistic and enjoyed painting, drawing and wood carving. She could always be found watching Greyâs Anatomy and Bobâs Burgers. She loved spending time with her family and friends more than anything. A typical summer, you wouldnât find her at home. She would always be out with her family and friends or on vacation with them. She loved Ocean City, Md. You could find her in a crab restaurant going for all you could eat crabs and a margarita.
