Rosalie A. Meyer
SOUTH ORLEANS, Mass. – Rosalie A. Meyer, 76, of South Orleans, Mass., died on Palm Sunday, March 28, 2021, after a brief battle with cancer.
Born in 1944 and raised in Waterbury, Conn., she graduated from Crosby High School and later from Saint Mary’s School of Nursing. Together with her husband of 52 years, Wayne, she owned and operated a successful family restaurant in Plantsville, Conn., until 1988. After many years of hard work, she fulfilled her dream of living on Cape Cod and moved with her family to Massachusetts in 1996. Rosalie’s second career of nursing was her most passionate calling.
She treated her patients with unconditional care and dignity, touching many lives. She lived her faith and was a parishioner of St. Joan of Arc Church in Orleans.
