Colorado Deer Found With Arrow In Nose OUCH. Recently, a CPW officer received a call about a deer in distress. It had apparently been shot with an arrow that was sticking through its nose. And because our Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers are so awesome, they were able to tranquilize the deer and remove the arrow safely. According to Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the wound was pretty fresh and the deer was in pretty good condition (all things considered). CPW would to send out a little reminder that no matter where you are, it IS ILLEGAL to hunt within city limits even during established hunting seasons.

Elk Rescued From Pool in West Loveland Swimming this time of year is pretty hard to do unless you are doing a cannonball in an indoor pool or heading to a warmer climate like Florida. As we all know, January in Colorado is very cold, but that didn t stop one elk from taking a dip in a swimming pool. Loveland Fire Rescue Authority responded to a call on Sunday of a young cow elk that had gotten stuck in a swimming pool on Bitterbush Way in west Loveland. Colorado Parks and Wildlife officers along with Loveland Fire Rescue Authority were able to get the 500-pound elk out of the pool safely. Florida family finds massive boa constrictor while walking near their home Tags: LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. – A South Florida family received a snake surprise they will never forget. The family found a giant Colombian Red Tailed Boa Constrictor slithering near their home in Lehigh Acres on Sunday, not far from Fort Myers. Kind workers from Scott’s Animal Services responded and bagged the snake, which measured at more than eight feet long. It weighs 60 lbs. and was likely someone’s pet at one point.
