Drake s son Adonis made a surprise appearance at Sunday s Billboard Music Awards, joining his father onstage as he won an artist of the decade prize.
The rapper, 34, gripped his son s shoulder throughout his speech, before hoisting him into the air and saying: I want to dedicate this award to you.
The three year old burst into tears, and left the stage clinging to his father s leg.
Meanwhile, The Weeknd was the night s big winner, taking home 10 awards.
Among his prizes were best artist; top Hot 100 album for After Hours; and top Hot 100 song for Blinding Lights.

Nick Jonas hosted the Billboard Music Awards and intro’d a ton of artist’s performances.
THE WEEKND was the big winner of the night, with TEN awards, including Top Artist, Top Album, and Top Radio Song for
“Blinding Lights”.

PINK received the Icon Award and performed a medley that included an aerial routine with her daughter Willow. And she accepted an “apology” from
Jon Bon Jovi for breaking her heart when he got married.
And Drake accepted the Billboard Music Award for Artist of the Decade and brought his son, Adonis, on stage with him. The three-year-old rocked blonde cornrows. Drake asked his son if he wanted to hold the award. At the end of his speech, Drake thanked his family. As Adonis tried to run away, Drake grabbed him, lifted him, and hugged him.

It was a family affair at the Billboard Music Awards, Pink twirled in the air in a powerful performance with her daughter, and Drake was named artist of the decade, accepting the honour alongside his three year old son.
Drake, who extended his record as the most decorated winner in the history of the award show to 29 wins on Sunday, was surrounded by family and friends who presented him with the Artist of the Decade Award.
He walked onstage outside the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles with his son Adonis holding his hand.
Pink received the Icon Award and was joined onstage by her nine year old daughter, showing off their powerful gymnastic skills as they spun in the air in a jaw-dropping performance.
