The team at Hospice Quinte is moving ahead with their plans, as we all wait for the golf courses and other venues to open up again after the province wide-lockdown.
Hospice Quinte has announced that if golf is go in the province, they will be hosting a tournament on June 25th at Black Bear Ridge Golf Course.
Jennifer May-Anderson, Executive Director with Hospice Quinte, says it’s been several years since they’ve had a charity golf tournament and they are looking forward to continuing to raise funds for the new hospice building.
The golf tournament will start at 9 am, but have staggered starts.

Hospice Quinte is recognizing National Hospice Palliative Care Week from May 2-8, with a special event on May 7 from 7 to 8 p.m.
This year’s Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association (CHPCA) theme for National Hospice Palliative Care Week is “The Light of My Life.” Everyone’s asked to recognized the week, using a candle or a light to recognize the need for palliative care in Canada. Family of Sidney and Naomi Spiegel proudly presented Hospice Quinte with a gift of $250,000 Tuesday, in support of the future Hospice Quinte Care Centre.
