College of the Canyons is set to host guest speakers and Tony Award-winning songwriters Lynn Ahren and Stephen Flaherty at their School of Visual and Performing Arts’ Virtual Industry Insight series next week.  “It is such a privilege to have Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty join our College community as the final guests in our Industry Insight Series this Spring” said Jennifer Smolos, Dean of the School of Visual & Performing Arts. “Their contributions to the American stage and screen are unparalleled.” Known for their work on musicals “Anastasia,” “Ragtime,” and “Seussical,” both Ahrens and Flaherty are winner’s of Broadway’s “triple crown,” having won a Tony Award, Drama Desk Award, and Outer Critics Circle Award.
