WTC final: R Ashwin, R Jadeja should play together as both are experienced and can win you games- Pragyan Ojha India Today Web Desk
Former India spinner Pragyan Ojha believes both Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja should play together if there s a little chance where India can play two spinners on the England tour. Ojha, speaking to Sports Today, asserted that both the players add immense batting depth and are experienced enough to win you matches on any wicket.
Ashwin and Jadeja have been India s star performers in Test cricket as the spin duo has hunted in packs and dismantled daunting opposition line-ups, especially during India s home seasons in recent years. However, it becomes tougher for the Virat Kohli-led team management to play both Ashwin and Jadeja when India tour overseas, especially the SENA countries.

Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], May 9 (ANI): Former India skipper Rahul Dravid on Sunday said that the Virat Kohli-led side has a very good chance of winning the Test series in England.
India and England are slated to lock horns in five-match Test series in UK this year. The series would commence in August, and India is also slated to square off against New Zealand in the finals of World Test Championship (WTC) in June. I really do think India have a very good chance this time. There s no question about England s bowling. Whatever bowling attack England put on the park, especially their seam-bowling attack, is going to be fantastic. They have a lot of players to pick and choose from and that s going to be terrific, Dravid said in a webinar organised by Live Aid India, a trust to help those affected by Covid-19, as reported by ESPNcricinfo.
West Bengal had elections in eight phases. The polling was held on March 27, April 1, April 6, April 10, April 17, April 22, April 26 and April 29. All India Trinamool Congress & allies, Sanjukta Morcha comprising Congress and the Left, Bharatiya Janata Party & allies and other parties were in fray. Out of the 294 constituencies, elections were postponed in two seats due to the death of candidates.
The spate of defections of several heavyweights that triggered the fall of the Narayanasamy-led Government before completing term, is now scorching the electoral prospects of the Congress alliance with many former associates notching up crucial wins for the rival front as early results of the April 6 elections came in on Sunday. And in the zero-sum game that has benefited the NDA as a whole in its bid for power, the BJP appears to have gained the most as it is now assured of a conspicuous tally of legislators in the 15th Legislative Assembly, whichever way the results go from here on.

Bengaluru, May 2 : Indian Premier League (IPL) side Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have joined hands with Give India Foundation to provide 100 units of oxygen concentrators in Bangalore and other cities in the fight against Covid-19.
In a show of respect and solidarity with frontline workers, the Virat Kohli-led RCB will sport a special blue kit in one of the upcoming IPL matches. The jersey will carry messages on spreading awareness about fighting the disease.
Brar cleaned up Kohli to pick up his first wicket in IPL. The left-arm spinner then beat the defence of Glenn Maxwell and castled him on the very next delivery.
In his next over, Brar got de Villiers to hit one straight into the hands of KL Rahul at short extra cover. He finished with figures of three for 19.
In the match, after being sent in to bat by RCB, Punjab Kings posted a competitive total of 179 for five from their allotted 20 overs.
Punjab Kings skipper KL Rahul was brilliant with the bat as he played an unbeaten knock of 91. He got support from Chris Gayle who smashed 46 runs off just 24 deliveries.
