A decision issued on Tuesday by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on a national program to develop math from now through 2030 calls for its continued development through research, application and education and making the subject an integral part of science, technology and socio-economic development.

The major reasons are that Vietnam can control the pandemic and is a member of many free trade agreements. It is now an economy with high openness.
