Earlier, the municipal People’s Committee planned to organized pyrotechnic displays on Lunar New Year’s Eve at eight locations in districts 2, 11, 9, Binh Thanh, Cu Chi, Can Gio, Nha Be and Binh Chanh. The local government has also assigned the Department of Information and Communications to work with local media to inform the cancelation to people in the city.
