ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Airport Security Force (ASF) on Thursday has foiled an attempt of smuggling ice heroin from Islamabad to Bahrain.
According to details, the security personnel have seized almost 3kg drugs from the luggage of a passenger scheduled to travel to Bahrain from Islamabad airport.
The suspect has been handed over to anti-narcotics force for further interrogation.

Customs officials claimed on Tuesday to have arrested three people and seized goods worth millions of rupees during separate interceptions at Jinnah International Airport over the past three days.
A passenger travelling from Karachi to Dubai was searched by officials after passing through the Airport Security Force and Anti-Narcotics Force checkpoints. They found 1 kilogramme of silver and 110 grammes of gold concealed in his baggage.
Moreover, Customs officers arrested two passengers who had arrived from Dubai, confiscating goods worth more than Rs10 million, including watches, mobile phones, sunglasses and other electronic items, from them.

ISLAMABAD: The Airport Security Force foiled on Monday a drug smuggling operation at the Islamabad Airport and detained two passengers.
According to airport sources, the two passengers identified as Naqeeb Akhtar and Muhammad Munir were travelling to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, via flight SV 888.
During the screening process at the airport, drugs were found hidden in the stomachs of the passengers.

Two men were arrested Monday at the Islamabad airport for trying to smuggle drugs to Saudi Arabia.
The Airport Security Force arrested Naqeeb Akhtar and Muhammad Muneer after it received reports of a smuggling attempt at the airport. The force said that the two men had swallowed heroin capsules separately before boarding the plane.
They have been handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Force, who then moved them to a hospital to recover the capsules they swallowed.
