Riyadh Airports marks launch of new flight route to Amsterdam RIYADH, January 27, 2021 Riyadh Airports Company (RAC) celebrated the launch of a new route between the Dutch capital Amsterdam and the Saudi capital Riyadh operated by Royal Dutch Airlines (KLM).    This new route marks KLM’s very first operation through King Khalid International Airport (KKIA) Riyadh, marking a new chapter for both KLM and KKIA.   The inauguration ceremony of this new route and the arrival of the first flight from Amsterdam were attended by Janet Alberda, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Saudi Arabia, Hamid Sait, Country Manager of KLM and Abdulaziz Al-Asaker, General Manager Aeronautical Business Development at Riyadh Airports.
