A minor is being held at a juvenile facility with no bond after being accused of killing a 25-year-old woman.Winston-Salem police say on May 16, officers responded to the 2800 block of Piedmont Circle after reports of a shooting.When officers arrived, Latasha Finney, 25, of Winston-Salem, was found on the ground in front of an apartment building with a gunshot wound.Finney was pronounced dead at the scene.A 33-year-old man, identified as Steven Seward, was also shot but has been treated and released from the hospital. Preliminary information indicates that the victim and her attacker were known to one another, police say. The attacker was identified as a juvenile. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to a secure juvenile facility with no bond. No arrest photograph will be released due to the offender being a juvenile, a news release said.The death of Finney marks the 12th homicide to be reported in Winston-Salem in 2021, as compared to seven homicides for
