Inquest opened into death of Kidderminster teen Dom Fox, 16,

A police car pictured at the scene AN inquest has been opened into the death of a Kidderminster teenager found dead in Kinver on Christmas Eve. Dominic Fox, known as Dom, aged 16, was found at Kinver Community Association Recreational Ground, on Legion Drive, at about 5.30am on Thursday December 24. Police and paramedics were alerted but he was confirmed dead at the scene. An inquest was opened by senior coroner for South Staffordshire, Andrew Haigh, on December 30 and the teenager, from Winston Road in Kidderminster, was confirmed to have died from hanging. The hearing was adjourned and a full inquest has been provisionally fixed for May 11.

Whitepit Lane to remain closed for work into 2021

The Isle of Wight s Wightpit Lane remains closed for work by Island Roads today (Wednesday). The road has been closed from its junction with Winston Road to its junction with Meadow Green for a distance of 56 metres for SGN to complete emergency repairs. Motorists will need to find an alternative route. The closure will affect Whitepit Lane, St Johns Road, St Johns Place, Trafalgar Road, Carisbrooke Road and Castle Road. The road was shut at 8am on December 29, for a maximum period of five days or until works are completed, whichever is sooner.
