Three players had multi-point nights for the Winnipeg Jets Thursday as they beat the Ottawa Senators 4-1.
Mark Scheifele put the puck past Thunder Bay’s Matt Murray for what would become the game-winning goal early in the second period.
Scheifele would also pick up an assist, while Nikolaj Ehlers, Blake Wheeler and Adam Lowry scored the other goals.
The lone Ottawa tally was scored by Chris Tierney late in the third period.
Connor Hellebuyck was in net for the Jets and made 29 saves to pick up his second win of the season.
The two teams will play each other again, this time in Winnipeg, on Saturday night.
