A 25-year-old man has received multiple charges following a traffic stop on Highway 401.
Lennox and Addington OPP were on patrol and observed a vehicle going at a high rate of speed near the Greater Napanee exit last Saturday.
Police initiated a traffic stop to discover the driver showing signs of impairment.
An Approved Screening Device was administered and the driver was subsequently arrested.
Vincent Lewis, aged 25 of Scarborough, received multiple charges including;
Operation While Impaired – alcohol and drug
Operating a motor vehicle while over legal blood alcohol limit
Stunt Driving
Drive motor vehicle with open container of Liquor
The accused was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court in Greater Napanee in May.
