India News: PATNA: A ruling BJP legislator who stirred a hornet's nest here by calling Nitish Kumar a "chief minister of circumstances" has been served a show-cau.
"The application of ED for remand is allowed and accused is remanded to custody of ED for a period of ten days, i.e., till June 13, being necessary for fair investigation," the judge said noting that the RJD MP was absolutely uncooperative when he was interrogated yesterday at his house.
The 61-year-old Rajya Sabha member and businessman was arrested under sections of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) from his residence in the Defence Colony area.
