AMMAN Jordan and Iraq on Saturday held talks in Amman, headed by Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Maha Al Ali and Iraqi Minister of Industry and Minerals Manhal Aziz, to enhance economic cooperation in various fields, especially trade and investment.
The meetings were attended by the ministry’s Secretary General Yousef Shamali and Iraqi Ambassador to Amman Haider Athari and a number of officials, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.

The government announced that there will be no more curfew on Fridays as per a set of decisions announced on Wednesday to gradually ease the COVID-19 containment measures.
Government spokesperson Ali Al Ayed announced the lifting of Friday curfew but said that the daily midnight curfew will remain in effect.
Minister of Health Nathir Obeidat said that the improvement in the epidemiological curve, as well as the launch of the national inoculation programme paved the way for reevaluating the current measures, including the reopening of some sectors.

AMMAN From hope to agony, the Kingdom’s fitness sector representatives face new challenges, following the government’s announcement regarding the reopening of certain sectors.
During a joint press conference live streamed from the Prime Ministry on Wednesday, Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply Maha Al Ali said that lifting restrictions would come in three phases.
Each phase guided by preventative guidelines would allow certain facilities to resume their operations including public pools, fitness centres, cinemas, public parks, among others.
