Last week, we saw Samsung launch its SmartThings Windows 10 app for easier controls over your various smart home products. Today, the company has seemingly released a new app geared towards owners of the Galaxy Buds who want to use them with their Windows computers. The app is simply named Galaxy Buds, and is available for free from the Microsoft Store, but makes it easy to pair your Galaxy Buds headphones to your computer. Currently, the app is only compatible with the newest Galaxy Buds Pro, but it seems that we could see support for the Galaxy Buds Live and Galaxy Buds+ in a future update. Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 and Watch3 get system improvements with new updates Samsung has released new software updates for the Galaxy Watch Active2 (SM-R820) and Galaxy Watch3 (SM-R840). Both are based on Tizen 5.5.0.2, but the update for the Watch Active2 comes with build number R820XXU1DUD1, while the firmware for the Watch3 has version R840XXU1BUD2. Samsung Galaxy Watch3 The build for the Watch3 includes system reliability improvements, while the Watch Active2 also gets improvements to Wi-Fi and Messaging App stability. Half a decade-old Gear smartwatches are getting new firmware updates It’s been almost four years since the Gear Sport smartwatch was introduced, and an even longer five years since Samsung took the veil off the Gear S3. But despite their age, Samsung has yet to abandon support for these wearables, and on the contrary, the company is now rolling out a new firmware update for both the Gear Sport and the Gear S3. The Gear Sport / Gear S3 updates carry firmware versions  R600XXU2FUD1 and  R760XXU2FUD1, respectively. The official changelog for the Gear Sport is unclear, but Samsung did publish the changelog for the Gear S3 firmware update and it likely reflects changes done to the Gear Sport as well.
