Fire crews respond to house fire in Windsor s east end

  WINDSOR, ONT. Windsor fire crews quickly had a house fire in the city’s east end under control Tuesday afternoon. Crews responded to the house fire in 1800 block of Balfour Boulevard around 3:30 p.m. where they were met with smoke and flames upon arrival. Firefighters began the fire attack and primary search and had the blaze under control within the hour. The fire has been put out and there were no injuries reported. A Windsor Fire and Rescue Services investigator determined the blaze started in the bedroom, but the cause remains unknown. The damage is estimated at $70,000. RELATED IMAGES

Windsor Fire battled yet another blaze Tuesday night  the city s 10th one in just 10 days.  Social Sharing CBC News · Posted: Mar 16, 2021 9:24 PM ET | Last Updated: March 17 Multiple units were on scene Tuesday night at the scene of a fire in Windsor that caused a power outage.(Dale Molnar/CBC) comments Windsor Fire battled yet another fire Tuesday night  the city s 10th in just 10 days.  Around 8:55 p.m. Tuesday, Windsor Fire tweeted that a large pallet and debris fire was active at Crawford Avenue and Tecumseh Road West. The tweet said that multiple units were on scene. In an updated tweet at 9:36 p.m., the department said the fire was out and that no damage was done to the building in the area.
