Richland Students Receive Vaccine 11:18 pm
A healthcare provider in Cambria County is making it even easier for people to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, while at school or work.
Windber Medical Center is making COVID-19 vaccines more accessible for people in the community. Tuesday, they held a vaccination clinic at Richland High School, giving students their first opportunity to receive the vaccine during school.
“They don’t have to leave the school. They don’t have to go into a hospital setting. They’re comfortable in this environment, they can bring a parent, have another student member come with them. So, it’s more of an ease that give them while they’re in their own environment,” said Windber Medical Center’s Director of Women’s Services, Erin Goins.
