By Christian Larranaga Robertson High School For New Mexico athletes, the COVID-19 pandemic has created a new normal. Typically, student-athletes are surrounded by their teammates on and off the field or court, making lifelong memories and developing life skills. For the past ten months, all sporting events, including practices, have been canceled. Personally, I believe that this has had a huge impact on New Mexico athletes, and has left them with nothing to do during these times when they would normally be out developing friendships and key life skills they need. Currently, New Mexico athletes have been given the hope that they will still have a season this school year, even though it will be shorter than normal.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - A new feature added to the Arizona Department of Transportation’s Traveler Information 511 website will help commercial vehicle drivers plan their route through the state with more ease.
This new feature at az511.gov allows truck drivers to see commercial vehicle restrictions along state highways. This way, they can plan their route to avoid those restrictions. Click on the ‘Map Legend’ box on the right-hand side of the screen and check the box next to ‘Truck Restrictions’ to bring up the truck restriction icons on the map. Clicking on an icon will show details including length and width restrictions and any escort requirements.
