Amy Hatch, 31, had been arrested after rear-ending her friend’s Ford Fiesta into another car in Purton last October. On the drive back to the police station, she told the two female officers accompanying her that she’d tested positive for Covid-19 then breathed heavily four times and faked a cough. PC Hayley Hardie said in her victim personal statement: “I have been a frontline officer for 19 years. I have never felt so violated by someone coughing directly at me.”

3 officers injured, 1 suspect dead after Carroll County car chase
Law enforcement officers from three separate agencies were wounded after suspects fled from a Georgia State Patrol traffic stop on Monday morning.
CARROLL COUNTY, Ga. - Law enforcement in Carroll County said three officers were injured, a suspect is dead and another is in custody after multiple agencies responded to a shooting incident on Monday morning.
Officials said the three officers are wounded in a gunfight with suspects fleeing from a Georgia State Patrol traffic stop. The injured authorities include a Carroll County deputy Jay Repetto, Carrollton Police Department officer Sgt. Rob Holloway and a Villa Rica Police Department officer Chase Gordy.
