A new coronavirus death has been reported in Whitman County. There have been 48 coronavirus deaths reported by Whitman County Public Health since the start of the pandemic.
Whitman County’s coronavirus activity level remains in the moderate range dropping slightly from last week’s report. There were 140 new confirmed cases of coronavirus in Whitman County over the past two weeks. That puts the county’s coronavirus activity level at 279 per 100,000 people.
Small communities continue to be hotspots. In Farmington there were 7 new cases over the past two weeks out of a population of 125. Endicott, LaCrosse and St. John have the next highest new case numbers per 100,000 people over the past two weeks.
