LAHORE:Quaid-e-Azam was the perfect example of Iqbal s Mard-e-Momin and Rumi s Mard-e-Kamil. This was stated by Senator Waleed Iqbal while addressing an event on Quaid-e-Azam Day organised by Aiwan-e-Iqbal and Iqbal Academy Pakistan. Iqbal Academy Pakistan Vice-President Dr Shahzad Qaiser, Director Prof Dr Baseera Ambreen, Anjum Waheed, administrator Aiwan-e-Iqbal, Nuzhat Akbar regional director, National Book Foundation, Brigadier (retd) Wajahat Hussain Sahi, director, Numl University and Haroon Akram Gill were also present.
Waleed Iqbal said Quaid-e-Azam changed the course of time, history and nation. Prof Dr Baseera Ambreen said “Both Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal are our focus and centre. Cultural activities on Quaid Day

Islamabad : Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) arranged cultural activities titled ‘Millat Ka Pasban’ on Friday to pay homage to Quaid-e-Azam on the occasion of his 144th birth anniversary with traditional zeal and zest.
The celebrations were being aimed at educating the youth about the Quaid’s vision and Pakistan’s ideology.
Special events were arranged on the day to highlight and promote ideas and views of the father of the nation, particularly with regards to rule of law, the supremacy of constitution and upholding of democracy.
Various colourful tableaus, patriotic songs were presented to commemorate the struggle of the Quaid for the creation of Pakistan. Moreover, a photographic exhibition portraying the educational, social, and political life of Quaid-e-Azam was also displayed.

Lahore:The working class paid tribute to the great services of the Father of the Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on the eve of his birth anniversary by holding a special meeting of Wapda/electricity workers on Thursday at Bakhtiar Labour Hall under the aegis of All Pakistan Wapda Hydro Electric Workers Union CBA.
The workers declared that Quaid-e-Azam was the architect of the successful struggle of the Muslims of the Subcontinent to lead them with exemplary struggle of independence from the British regime by his devoted contribution with statesmanship.
In a resolution, the participants appealed to the policy makers, the government and all political parties of the nation to follow his footsteps.
