Superstar John Cena has been racking in some pretty impressive movie roles as of late, and he seems to be getting quite a few more as one of his recent social media posts suggest. Cena recently posted a promotional image of
Argylle, a movie slated to begin filming at the end of the summer, specifically this August. The film seems to be a departure from the action films we’ve seen him in thus far.

Judas and the Black Messiah is partnering with actor and comedian
Lil Rel Howery for a new film.
Shaka King will direct the project and write the script while
Ryan Coogler,
Charles D. King and Howery will produce the film. The title and plot of the film are still being kept under wraps, but it is reportedly about an American political insurrection.
The Hollywood Reporter adds that the project is set in modern times and may span several genres.
King, Coogler and King achieved great success with their previous joint effort,
Daniel Kaluuya and
Lakeith Stanfield, the film debuted on HBO Max and received overwhelmingly favorable reviews before making a major run during awards season. The film took home a BET Award, one Golden Globe Award and two Academy Awards. The movie s soundtrack also debuted at #12 on the U.S. Billboard 200 Chart.
