For the seventh annual Don Strange & Christmas Lights Spectacular, Don Strange s ranch has added a drive-in movie to its holiday experience. The event is open until Dec. 24. Tickets range from $25 to $45, depending on the package.

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 11, 2020 /PRNewswire/ In response to Mecklenburg County s ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, WellCare is partnering with Crossroads Corporation, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Housing Partnership, Grier Heights Community Center, and Power 98 FM to provide free COVID-19 testing and information on accessing resources in the community.
Testing will take place during the Health for the Holidays Drive-Thru event on Sat., Dec. 12 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Grier Heights Community Center located at 3100 Leroy Street in Charlotte.
During the event, StarMed Healthcare will offer screenings at no cost, including to those without health insurance. No appointments are needed but registration is strongly encouraged. Results will be available in 48 to 72 hours following testing.
WEST NORRITON â December will be a busy month for Santa Claus in West Norriton Township.
The popular fellow took his annual ride through the township via a Jefferson Fire Co. fire truck on Sunday, Dec. 6.
âHe will be a COVID Santa,â noted Public Works Director Mike Valyo said during last Tuesday s Board of Commissioners meeting. âHe will not be getting off the truck. There will be no candy canes but the children will still be able to see him and wave.â

On Saturday, Dec 12 Santa moves to the township building for Santaâs Holiday Drive Thru, 5 to 7 p.m., noted Parks and Recreation Director Jonathan Dzedzy.
