What to Know About the Drama Going On Between Mads Lewis, Nessa Barrett and Jaden Hossler

How did it start? You may be wondering, though, what caused all of this. Well, let s start at the beginning. TikTok fans know all about one of the original couples on the app, Mads Lewis and Jaden Hossler. The pair has been dating on and off since 2019 and, as of recently, it seemed like they were going strong. Jaden, meanwhile, just released a song with Nessa, titled La Di Die and the pair has been spending a lot of time together promoting it. Nessa, though, has been in an on-again-off-again relationship with Josh Richards for the past few years, though recently it seemed like they were back together.

Taylor Swift bashes Netflix after deeply sexist joke

Hey Ginny & Georgia, 2010 called and it wants its lazy, deeply sexist joke back. How about we stop degrading hard working women by defining this horse shit as FuNnY. Also, @netflix after Miss Americana this outfit doesn’t look cute on you Happy Women’s History Month I guess pic.twitter.com/2X0jEOXIWp Taylor Swift (@taylorswift13) March 1, 2021 It’s not an entirely original line either. Since Swift’s debut at 16, who the musician s dating life has been a hot subject of tabloid press, as have her own songs, generating speculation about who each song is (or isn t) about. In her 2014 pop debut album, Swift alluded to a long list of ex-lovers in the song Blank Space and more recently addressed the Reputation (the name of her sixth album, released in 2017) of women who dated multiple men.

Taylor Swift and Paramore TikTok fan theory l Alternative Press

As it turns out, there are quite a few lyrical parallels in both songs. One example can be found towards the beginning of both tracks. Williams sings, “two weeks and we had caught on fire,” referencing a relationship that started quickly. Meanwhile, on “Better Than Revenge,” Swift sings, “she came along got him alone let’s hear the applause she took him faster than you can say sabotage.” Both lyrics are heavily referencing a relationship that began quicker than either party anticipated. However, this isn’t the only lyrical similarity between the two songs. Paramore’s “Misery Business” also includes the lyrics, “there’s a million other girls who do it just like you.” Similarly, Swift sings, “she looks at me like I’m a trend and she’s so over it” on “Better Than Revenge.” Both lyrics are seemingly pointing out that the mystery girl in Paramore’s song is viewed as someone who just follows along with what everyone else is doing.

What Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen have in common

Music Club, my letter to you: I’ll begin with a riddle that might rile up a few of those Eric Clapton fans who got mad online at Phoebe Bridgers: In 2020, what did Bruce Springsteen and Taylor Swift have in common? Advertisement If you answered, “They both released stripped-down but moodily photographed black-and-white performance films exclusive to popular streaming services that featured them playing their latest material in cozy, cabinlike recording studios” well, technically you would have been correct, but that’s not what I was thinking. (Carl, you’re so right that so much of our listening this year also had a visual, screen-based component.) The connection I had in mind was actually that both Springsteen and Swift spent some time this year in their own vaults, rerecording music they’d written many years and several artistic iterations ago.
