Manchester United co-chairman Joel Glazer has responded to a letter signed by members of the United Fans Forum that called for increased fan representation at boardroom level after their involvement in the proposed Super League.
Fans rallied against the controversial breakaway league after it was announced last month and United were among the six Premier League clubs who pulled out within 48 hours of its announcement.
But their withdrawal wasn t enough to quell the fury. United fans continued to protest against the owners in the weeks that followed and their demonstration at Old Trafford ahead of their clash with Liverpool led to some fans breaking into the stadium, and the game being postponed.

Manchester United Supporters Trust (MUST) have released a statement in reply to Joel Glazer s open letter to the fans in which he promised better communication from the club.
The Glazer s ownership of United has come under increased scrutiny in recent weeks following the decision to join the much-maligned - and ultimately unsuccessful - European Super League.

The decision represented a tipping point for many United fans who ve long since voiced their concerns over the way the club was being run, with thousands of fans protesting prior to United s Premier League game against Liverpool recently and causing the match to be postponed after they made their way onto the pitch.
