AHMEDABAD: The Gujarat high court has asked the Vijay Rupani government to be honest and transparent in its dialogue with the public and give a “real picture” of the number of Covid-19 patients and deaths caused by the pandemic in the state.
In its order passed on Friday on a suo motu PIL on the Covid-19 situation, the bench of Chief Justice Vikram Nath and Justice Bhargav Karia highlighted certain issues that the government must focus on to control the pandemic situation and directed that “accurate data on RT-PCR testing with correct figures of positive results” be made public. “The state should not feel shy of publishing the correct data of testing results, if such figures are not being correctly reported,” it said.
Vijay Rupani says those returning from Kumbh will get entry in Gujarat only after RT PCR test
