Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], January 23 (ANI): Former All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) leader VK Sasikala s health condition is stable, said Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute on Saturday. 66-year-old Sasikala condition is stable with reduced symptoms. Her pulse rate is 77 per minute and her blood pressure is 149 / 64 mmHg. Whereas the respiratory rate of her is 22 per minute and oxygen saturation level is 97 per cent with four-litre of oxygen, said the Medical College in a statement.
The Medical College also revealed that the former AIADMK leader is taking normal food. She is being continuously monitored in the Intensive Care Unit ward.

The close aide of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister late J Jayalalitha on Thursday tested positive for COVID-19 in an RT-PCR test. She was admitted to Lady Curzon Hospital after complaints of fever and later she was shifted to Victoria Hospital Bengaluru yesterday.

Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], January 22 (ANI): Former AIADMK leader VK Sasikala tested positive for COVID-19 in an RT-PCR test, said Victoria Hospital Bengaluru on Thursday. Primary contacts will be isolated for three days and a three-day test will be done on them. We have followed all the SOPs while dealing with her. Yesterday only we defined it as a Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) case, said Dr Manoj Kumar, Dean-cum-Director, Bowring and Lady Curzon medical college and research institute.
The close aide of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa was earlier admitted to Lady Curzon Hospital after complaints of fever and later she was shifted to Victoria Hospital Bengaluru on Thursday.

Bengaluru: VK Sasikala, the key aide of late former chief minister of Tamil Nadu Jayalalithaa has developed a severe chest infection and has very high-sugar levels, the Victoria Hospital Bengaluru said on Thursday, news agency ANI reported. Shortly later, it was confirmed that she has tested positive for COVID-19, Victoria Hospital, Bengaluru said.
According to tweets posted by the agency, the Tamil Nadu leader was referred from Bowring & Lady Curzon Hospital with a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus, hypertension, hypothyroidism, UTI & suspected SARI & treated with antibiotics, Insulin, Heparin & other supportive measures and was admitted to the Victoria Hospital.
