2021 Sounds Better Together concert to be broadcast on TV

Mushroom Group founder and chairman Michael Gudinski said in a press release, “I’m thrilled that with this Nine broadcast everyone across Australia has an opportunity to experience the 2021 Sounds Better Together Shows, even if they can’t be at them in person.” Advertisement Nine program director Hamish Turner added, “Live music is such an important part of Australian culture. “I hope by broadcasting… we can remind audiences of their love for live music and that we have hope for a better year for all ahead.”

Today, a further five gigs have been added to the program between Saturday 23 and Saturday 30 January, taking in iconic venues around the State from the stunning Forum Melbourne to Castlemaine’s Theatre Royal, Warrnambool’s The Whalers Hotel, San Remo’s Westernport Hotel and St Kilda’s famous Prince Bandroom and Esplanade Hotel. A partnership between Michael Gudinski’s Mushroom Group and Visit Victoria, the Jan. 23 to Jan. 30 shows will be staged in regional wine-growing areas as Rutherglen and the Yarra Valley to the surf coast to Melbourne venues as the Prince of Wales Bandroom. Chris Cheney Has Red Hot Summer Solo Shows and a Solo Album Coming Chris Cheney will start 2021 live as a solo artist with his first solo album on the way and a spot on the Red Hot Summer national tour with Jimmy Barnes, Hoodoo Gurus and Jon Stevens. Chris has popped out of The Living End on many occasions but this is the first time as a solo artist. In 2005 he recorded ‘Private School Kid’ with Sarah McLeod for her solo record. He has popped up on stage with Green Day, You Am I, The Stray Cats and Jimmy Barnes. In fact, Chris wrote the song ‘I Won’t Let You Down’ from Jimmy’s 2019 album ‘My Criminal Record’.
