The lawsuit was filed on behalf of Texas, levying unsubstantiated accusations of voter fraud in Michigan, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, and calling on the U.S. Supreme Court to invalidate a combined 62 electoral votes that went to President-elect Joe Biden. Republican attorneys general in 17 states filed motions supporting the lawsuit, joined by 106 Congressional Republicans in a Thursday court filing.
