ETSUâs Robin Leonard was stabbed at her Johnson City home Jan. 18
Johnson City police confirmed Monday that a Johnson City woman, who was stabbed multiple times at her home on Jan. 18, has died.
Robin Leonard, a beloved East Tennessee State University psychology professor, died Friday around 8:30 p.m. Her alleged attacker, Annette D. Harvey, 51, of New Jersey, has been charged with first-degree murder.
Leonard was stabbed at least eight times on Jan. 18. Johnson City police said she told them who attacked her before she was rushed to an area hospital.
According to an arrest warrant, Leonard had custody of Harveyâs children. There had reportedly been an encounter between the women on Sunday, the day before the stabbing, when Harvey took the children from Leonardâs home. They were later located by police and returned to Leonard.
