Veterans in Northeast Arkansas will get a chance to get their COVID-19 shot on Thursday with an event in Jonesboro. The Veteran s Affairs Center in Memphis posted on Facebook that they will be helping to administer the singe-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine at the VA Clinic in Jonesboro. The event begins at 8 A.M. Those wanting the vaccine must schedule an appointment by calling the clinic at 870-277-0778. Meanwhile, the Arkansas Department of Health s website says the East Arkansas Family Health Center in West Memphis is also having a vaccination clinic from 9 A.M. until 2 P.M. Appointments must be made by calling the center at 870-735-3842.
