William Bill Dec, 95, of Lewes passed away peacefully Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2020, at Beebe Healthcare, Lewes. He was born April 3, 1925, in Brooklyn, N.Y., son of the late William and Anna (Stin) Dec. Bill resided in Massapequa, N.Y., and Newark, before moving to Lewes with his late wife Cindy.
Mr. Dec attended Oberlin College and University of Michigan. He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran, having honorably served for three years during World War II. After his service, Mr. Dec built a 25-plus year career working for major New York advertising firms. He owned many art galleries, the last one being William s Gallery in Chesapeake City, Md. Mr. Dec also worked as an art instructor at New York University, Parsons School of Design and Adelphi University.

Linda A. McClellan McMullan, 71, of Rehoboth Beach passed away peacefully, surrounded by angels Thursday, Dec. 17, 2020, at her home. She was born Dec. 18, 1948, in Chester, Pa., daughter of the late William and Lillian Levenstein.
Linda grew up in Chester and was a graduate of Chester High School. She moved to Aston, Pa., where she raised her family. Linda built a lifelong career as a legal secretary, working for various law firms in Media, Pa., and the greater Philadelphia area, including Marshal Dennehey Law Firm for many years. Following retirement to the Delaware beaches, Linda’s calling to be a legal secretary beckoned, and she went back to work for the State of Delaware Department of Justice.

Virginia A. Jobora, 73, of Lewes passed away Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, at Temple University Hospital - Jeanes Campus, in Philadelphia, Pa. She was born Monday, March 10, 1947, in Gettysburg, Pa., daughter of the late William and Ann (Worrilow) Baker.
A graduate of Lewes High School, Mrs. Jobora spent a lifelong career as a cardiopulmonary technician at Beebe Healthcare, retiring in 2012 after 37 dedicated years. In Lewes, Mrs. Jobora enjoyed raising a beautiful family and spending time with them every moment she could, especially time spent with her four grandchildren; they were the apples of her eyes. Mr. Jobora was an avid reader with great curiosity. She enjoyed many genres and often lost herself in a good book.

Carol A. Bismark, 75, of Lewes, Del., passed away Saturday at Beebe Healthcare. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Leo J. Long and Cecilia M. (Smith) Long.
Mrs. Bismark moved to Lewes 18 years ago after living a vast majority of her life in Altoona. She built a lifelong career in food industry as a meat wrapper. Mrs. Bismark was also a volunteer at the Central District Fireman Association as well as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary American Legion 28. Above all, Mrs. Bismark cherished time spent with those she held most dear. She was a loving and devoted wife, and friend, who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Victorine Vicky S. Mertes, 95, of Indian Beach, Rehoboth, peacefully passed away Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020. She was born in Philadelphia, Pa., March 12, 1925, daughter of the late Elsie Blanche (Hutchinson) and T. Henry B. Sanders.
Vicky graduated from Temple University High School in 1943 and attended Temple University and Drexel University. She then began working in the Petroleum Lab at Sun Oil Company in Marcus Hook, Pa., toward the end of World War II. After marrying, Vicky moved to Wilmington, and shortly before the birth of her daughter, became a full-time homemaker. As her children got older, she became a runway model with the Philadelphia Models Guild, appearing in many fashion shows in the Philadelphia and Wilmington areas. Once her children entered college, Vicky moved permanently to the family home in Indian Beach, where she resided until her death.
