Why is Patch ignoring the Khahil Coleman of The People s Revolutions arrest for reportedly being involved in a strong armed robbery in Kentucky story?
As I ve said many times on Patch, news bias is not just how stories are reported, but also in what stories are not reported. Clearly, this story does not fit the editors narrative of the social justice movement, so it must be ignored.

Jan. 27 was a great day for The Springs in Naperville.
The health care and rehab center at Monarch Landing senior living community in Naperville delivered its 340th COVID-19 vaccination during its second all-day clinic with pharmacy partner CVS.
An initial dose had been administered several weeks ago to residents of The Springs and all staff wishing to be vaccinated.
Vaccinations administered on Jan. 27 included the recommended second doses, as well as initial doses for staff deciding to participate. There was an air of great relief and excitement as staff lined up down the hall, waiting for their turn, said Mark Trnka, executive director. We ve been working so hard to make this happen, and everyone is looking forward to a time when things can return to normal. This is a very major step in that direction. Residents in independent living at Monarch Landing will have the opportunity to receive their first dose of the vaccine within the next two weeks.

Healthcare residents and staff of Friendship Senior Options communities, Friendship Village of Schaumburg, and GreenFields of Geneva have started receiving the COVID-19 vaccinations.
With guidance from the Illinois Department of Public Health and working with pharmacy partner CVS, the residents in Briarwood Healthcare Centers, Reflections Memory Support, and Willows Assisted Living in both senior living communities, as well as all staff members have had the opportunity to receive their first vaccines. In-house clinics for the second doses are being scheduled.
