The 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am wasn’t used to film Knight Rider, but is a picture-perfect recreation of Michael Knight’s autonomous sidekick with its then-futuristic digital dashboard and scanning red light at the front of the hood. (Live Auctioneers)
The black coupe is in running condition and Hasselhoff put his signature on the dashboard for extra cache. He’ll also personally deliver it to the winner if the highest bid exceeds the reserve price by 25%.

This giant David Hasselhoff prop really is a statement piece. Diligent Auction Services
If you ve ever wanted a giant version of David Hasselhoff in your home, you re in luck. A 14-foot-long model of the actor wearing his signature red Baywatch lifeguard swim trunks is for sale by Diligent Auction Services via the Live Auctioneers website.
This oversize model stretches out as if Hasselhoff were bodysurfing. It was used in the 2004 SpongeBob SquarePants movie, as well as shown during the 2010 Comedy Central Roast of Hasselhoff.
A replica of KITT, the famous car driven by David Hasselhoff in Knight Rider, is currently up for auction in the U.S. and has already attracted a highest bid approaching $500,000.
The title of the auction reads ‘Davids Personal KITT Knight Rider Car’ and despite the spelling and grammatical errors throughout the listing, it is indeed the car once owned by Hasselhoff himself. Unfortunately, the description of the car is scarce on details about the car and just what its origins are.
Ordinarily for a celebrity-owned car and/or one that was used in a series as famous as Knight Rider, we would expect to find a lengthy description that details its history. That’s exactly what happened with a separate auction of another KITT that was sold back in July having been used in tours and appearances while promoting Knight Rider. In that case, the car sold for $192,000 after attracting 5 bids. This auction is quickly racing towards double that.
